Where are we today?

We are very fortunate to be able to bring Dr Frank Higginbottom, a world recognized pioneer in dental implants, and a perpetual innovator, to the March Club Meeting. He will share with us the modern marvels of digital dentistry - from diagnosis, planning, to impressioning and guided surgery and to milling of the prostheses. 

Following the presentation, there will be case reports, and a “mini-expo” to be able to play around with the gadgets of modern dentistry.

Frank L. Higginbottom, DDS

Dr. Higginbottom earned his Bachelor of Science degree from theUniversity of Oklahoma, then continued his studies at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He graduated with honors in 1971, winning the silver medal for Academic and Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Higginbottom is actively involved with clinical dental education and research. He lectures nationally and internationally on Esthetic Dentistry and Dental Implants. He holds faculty positions at two Texas dental schools. At Baylor College of Dentistry, he is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Departments of Oral Surgery andProsthodontics. He has made a weekly commitment to work with dental residents in Baylor's clinic. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Higginbottom has participated in several clinical research projects and has had numerous articlespublished in the dental literature.
